TAFEs hope to boost support by capitalising on hung parliament

The Australia 25/08/2010 Wednesday P23

Notes:
  • capitalise set in TAFE higher education in regional areas on hung parliament
  • seek commonwealth-supported for childhood degrees
  • TDA launched a strategy for an integrated tertiary sector to TAFE
  • TDA ask funding support after election
  • the fee in TAFE higher education higher than university

Summaries:

  1. TAFE is set to capitalise by advocating in delivering higher education in regional areas on hung parliament. The advocates are pushing for commonwealth-supported places for the early childhood degrees. Also, TDA launched a strategy to offer quality degrees in TAFEs and seeked the funding support after the election as well. The main reason for supporting is the fee in TAFE higher education is much higher than the one at university.

Personal Reflection:

I think the government should support the TAFE higher education which aims to provide higher qualification. This is designed to help educate students to get higher degree so that they can make a contribution to the country. It's a beneficial cycle between individuals and country. The critical way to progress the finance of the country is to make efforts on its education.
