  • encourage the reduction of chemical, not stop swimming
  • excess fat around waist also increase the risk of bowel cancer

Environmental scientists found that swimming in chlorinated pool can cause an increased risk of cancer and an increased risk in respiratory problems from the chlorine. The researchers didn't mean to stop people swimming, but encourage the reduction of chemicals. Meanwhile, carrying excess fat around the waist also increases the risk of bowel cancer.

Personal Reflections:

It is a good way to use chlorine as a disinfectant in swimming pools. However, it causes the risk of cancer. So, we should consider thoroughly to continue using it or throw it away. Also, we need to keep ourselves fit. Obesity which is a epidemic disease is easily ignored by us. It can lead to chronic disease, so nowadays we must pay attention on it.

  • the fee in TAFE higher education higher than university

  1. TAFE is set to capitalise by advocating in delivering higher education in regional areas on hung parliament. The advocates are pushing for commonwealth-supported places for the early childhood degrees. Also, TDA launched a strategy to offer quality degrees in TAFEs and seeked the funding support after the election as well. The main reason for supporting is the fee in TAFE higher education is much higher than the one at university.

Personal Reflection:

I think the government should support the TAFE higher education which aims to provide higher qualification. This is designed to help educate students to get higher degree so that they can make a contribution to the country. It's a beneficial cycle between individuals and country. The critical way to progress the finance of the country is to make efforts on its education.
