Henry gets hassled by cops
Actually, Geoff didn't do some real serious stuff to police. The worst thing he was done is to show the bad attitude to police. In addition, he resisted to be arrested and assaulted police (I don't really know). Eventually, he was charged by the police and would go to the court. He could also get the Legal Aid's help. This is the way that the law system protect its citizen.
In conclusion, I suggest that when we face to the police it's better to be nice to them. Sometimes, it can help us to ease off the charge.

Police watch 'may have saved asylum-seekers'
Notes:
- overloaded fishing vessel with 74 asylum seekers may drown
- not big enough to carry all and leaking before it set out
- local fisherman were mobilised to take off victims
- kippers didn't want to sail the boat and a local businessman collected $506 a passenger
- most asylum seekers were in custody at Jogiakarta immigration centre
summarise:
A overloaded fishing vessel carrrying 74 asylum seekers might all have drown because the ship wasn't big enough to carry them all and it was leaking before setting out. Local fishermen were mobilised to take off the asylum seekers and crews. However, the skippers didn't want to sail the boat and a local businessman collected $506 a passenger to leave. It is a criminal behaviours. Last night, most asylum seekers were in custody at Jogiakarta immigration centre. It is one of the most comprehensive busts of an Indonesian people-smuggling operation.
Personal Reflections:
I think it is not only the crimine for skippers and businessman to not take off the victims or exchanging in money benifit, but also not moral. It is detestable that the smuggling poeple cause to the disaster in some boat travelling cases. So, it's important to sentence them but the most important thing is to decrease the people illegally coming to Australia.

Chlorine linked to cancer
Notes:
- swimming in chlorinated pools cause cancer
- encourage the reduction of chemical, not stop swimming
- excess fat around waist also increase the risk of bowel cancer
Summaries:
Environmental scientists found that swimming in chlorinated pool can cause an increased risk of cancer and an increased risk in respiratory problems from the chlorine. The researchers didn't mean to stop people swimming, but encourage the reduction of chemicals. Meanwhile, carrying excess fat around the waist also increases the risk of bowel cancer.
Personal Reflections:
It is a good way to use chlorine as a disinfectant in swimming pools. However, it causes the risk of cancer. So, we should consider thoroughly to continue using it or throw it away. Also, we need to keep ourselves fit. Obesity which is a epidemic disease is easily ignored by us. It can lead to chronic disease, so nowadays we must pay attention on it.

TAFEs hope to boost support by capitalising on hung parliament
Notes:
- capitalise set in TAFE higher education in regional areas on hung parliament
- seek commonwealth-supported for childhood degrees
- TDA launched a strategy for an integrated tertiary sector to TAFE
- TDA ask funding support after election
- the fee in TAFE higher education higher than university
Summaries:
- TAFE is set to capitalise by advocating in delivering higher education in regional areas on hung parliament. The advocates are pushing for commonwealth-supported places for the early childhood degrees. Also, TDA launched a strategy to offer quality degrees in TAFEs and seeked the funding support after the election as well. The main reason for supporting is the fee in TAFE higher education is much higher than the one at university.
Personal Reflection:
I think the government should support the TAFE higher education which aims to provide higher qualification. This is designed to help educate students to get higher degree so that they can make a contribution to the country. It's a beneficial cycle between individuals and country. The critical way to progress the finance of the country is to make efforts on its education.
